



NISHIKAWA Katsuhito
NISHIKAWA Katsuhito was born in Tokyo in 1949. After graduating from Keio University he moved to Europe. He graduated from the Akademie of Fine Arts Munich and from the Graduate School of the Staatliche Kunstakademie Dusseldorf. He then started his career and began developing as an artist based in Europe.
Currently NISHIKAWA Katsuhito resides in Dusseldorf and continues his creative work at his studio next to the Museum Insel Hombroich. He also has received a grant from the city of Dusseldorf. His personal exhibitions have been staged throughout Europe and many places in Japan.
NISHIKAWA Katsuhito creates sculptures, installations, pictures, and drawings and his works are now displayed and housed in many public spaces, buildings, and museums. NISHIKAWA Katsuhito is a visiting professor at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg and at the University of Art and Design in Reims. He is a visiting lecturer at the Keio University SFC.
